"Escape The Combine" WIP

Overview
Narrative/Setting: A compact, narrative-driven Half-Life 2-inspired level where Gordon Freeman awakens in Combine captivity and must fight his way to freedom. The level blends stealthy openings, combat encounters, and environmental puzzles to create a sense of rising tension. Player flow is guided through claustrophobic corridors, patrol routes, and chokepoints, culminating in a dramatic escape sequence that rewards persistence and exploration.
Requirements/Constraints: This is a small-to-medium sized linear level inspired by Half-Life 2’s Combine encounters. It is set in a first-person POV with mechanics such as running, jumping, crouching, and weapon-based combat. The player, captured by the Combine, must navigate through confined corridors, patrol routes, and scripted encounters to escape captivity, with environmental storytelling and pacing driving the experience.
